The GridIron Classic, created in 2010 by former Miami Dolphin, Alphonso Roundtree, is a fun-filled weekend of exhilarating events and activities. Pro-Football players, celebrities, community partners and leaders donate their time to motivate young people to be physically active, educate them on how to maintain good nutrition and encourage them to establish positive life skills.
THE 2013 GRIDIRON CLASSIC
Now in its fourth year, the Gridiron Classic (GIC) is a community initiative that continues to grow rapidly and has established a strong reputation for using the power and influence of sports to positively impact the lives of youth ages 8-17.
The goal of the GIC is to capture the attention of and engage young people in order to foster a spirit of determination by motivating and empowering youth
through enriching experiences. Help us in championing issues focused on the betterment of youth.
